Oddy Knocky coffee roasters
A Roaster We Trust
Based in Bolton, Oddy Knocky is a coffee roastery passionate about celebrating independence and self-expression. With zero compromise on quality, their coffee is served with fearless enjoyment and a touch of mischief. Oddy Knocky caters to those who go their own way, making a point of sidestepping the humdrum and the dull.
That fearless, no-compromise attitude to quality is exactly what we look for in the independent UK roasters we feature in our specialty coffee subscription boxes. Oddy Knocky joins a growing list of roasters bringing serious character to the RISE lineup.
Caramel Kush
We've had a few coffees from Sidama washing station over the years and are always blown away by the quality. This coffee comes from the Molla village within the Sidama district, and produces natural coffees – where the cherries are dried in the sun, giving the coffee a boozy flavour. Grown at a very high altitude of 1,980 metres above sea level, this coffee is best drunk without milk to allow the unusual flavours to come through.
Coffees like this are exactly why RISE Coffee Box exists. Every month, we blind taste 25-30 coffees from independent specialty coffee roasters across the UK – from fearless, independently-minded roasters like Oddy Knocky to standout names we've discovered along the way – and choose only the very best to feature in our coffee subscription boxes. If you love discovering new specialty coffee, sustainably sourced and roasted by people who genuinely care about where it comes from, a RISE coffee subscription is the easiest way to explore it all from home.
