Every box features coffee handpicked and personally tasted by our founders, Alice and Ben, before it ever reaches you.

The short answer is YES! We work closely with our roasting partners to ensure the coffee reaches you as quickly as possible after its roasting date. This is usually within 3-4 days, so we can guarantee it will smell and taste great. Specialty coffee should be left to settle for 6-10 days before drinking

RISE coffee subscriptions start from £12 a month, with our most popular option at £24 a month including free 48-hour tracked Royal Mail delivery. You choose how much coffee you get (1, 2, 3, or 4 bags of 227–250g coffee from our roaster partners) and how often it arrives, so the price flexes to match how much you actually drink — the more you take, the cheaper it works out per bag. There's no minimum term, so you can adjust your box size or pause at any time.

Yes, the coffee can be selected as ground or whole bean depending on how the recipient normally brews, so it works whether they use a cafetiere, filter, grinder-and-machine setup, or something else entirely.
