The Coffee

This coffee is pretty special - as it comes from RISE's favourite coffee growing area, the Rwenzori Mountains in Uganda. Many of you will know that our first Friendly Coffee Fund project directly supports these farmers by helping send their children to school. This coffee is grown by smallholder farmers at high altitude, and is naturally processed from being dried in the sun. The coffee is a well rounded and balanced coffee, full bodied and sweet with a mild acidity.

Plum, Dark Chocolate and Pecan

Brew tips:

This coffee has been roasted in a way that brings through the dark chocolate notes when served as a black or white espresso. This coffee will also brew beautifully with a cafetiere or moka pot. When brewed as a filter coffee, you'll taste the plum and fruitier notes.

Delicious surprises in every box!

Rise Coffee Box has elevated my mornings. Every month, I get to explore incredible roasters and unique blends I’d never find on my own.

The quality is always top notch (and freshly roasted) and the variety keeps it exciting - the tasting notes are a thoughtful addition.

My favourite ever subscription!

If you are debating whether to commit to a new subscription, I cannot recommend Rise Coffee Box enough!! We have been subscribers since they were first founded and have never been disappointed. Every month we get to try a new delicious coffee (which we otherwise never would have found!), as well as sample a hand picked treat which is different in each box! I love the fact we get to learn something new about coffee farming and the roasters each month. Such a great and fun subscription!!
