BREW CREW COFFEE
A Roaster We Trust
Creating coffee with a purpose, Brew Crew was founded with the objective to make a tangible impact with every coffee sale. Every bag bought invests straight back into the regions they source their coffee from, with 10% of retail sales and 5% of wholesale revenue supporting meaningful projects across the world.
This January, we're thrilled to announce that these funds will be allocated to our Friendly Coffee Fund, and we can't wait to share what impact these contributions have. That kind of direct, measurable giving back is exactly what we look for in the independent UK roasters we feature in our specialty coffee subscription boxes.
Primavera Sisterhood
The Primavera Sisterhood is an incredibly inspiring twist on a blend from Huehuetenango, Guatemala, shining a light on coffee grown by women farmers. Within the coffee industry, women face more challenges than most. Despite their vital roles in cultivation and processing, women struggle to progress, facing barriers to education, training and access to land. In this roast, the blend of coffee comes solely from women producers, with extra funds supporting workshops for female farmers.
Each pour should be timed so that the hot water has almost completely passed through the filter before pouring again, so this often requires a slightly more coarse grind than most pour over recipes.
Coffees like this are exactly why RISE Coffee Box exists. Every month, we blind taste 25-30 coffees from independent specialty coffee roasters across the UK – from purpose-driven names like Brew Crew to standout roasters we've discovered along the way – and choose only the very best to feature in our coffee subscription boxes. If you love discovering new specialty coffee, sustainably sourced and roasted by people who genuinely care about where it comes from, a RISE coffee subscription is the easiest way to explore it all from home.
