The coffee: The original espresso blend from Uncommon Ground. A perfectly balanced espresso made up of 100% arabica coffees from Brazil, Colombia and Sumatra.
Each component is roasted individually to highlight each of the coffees delicious flavours giving you Notes of Plum, Toffee and Chocolate Orange. Although specifically roasted for espresso, this blend also works great as a Filter Coffee and through an Aeropress.

Uncommon Ground is an independent, family owned and operated, speciality coffee bar situated in Cardiff’s historical Royal Arcade. They are two local brothers, Paul and Ian Hayman, who have devoted our passion for coffee into roasting and serving the finest, freshest, and expertly prepared coffee to the people of Cardiff since opening in March of 2015. Their love of great coffee now manifests itself daily through the business we have created and enables us to provide Cardiff with an entirely unique experience for fellow coffee admirers.
Alongside their coffee bar in Cardiff, they have a separate roasting facility located just outside of the city centre. This is where they roast and blend our “Original Uncommon Ground Espresso”, along with their selection of single origin specialty coffees – both for use in their own coffee bar, as well as supplying personal and wholesale retailers across the country.
